AECOM is searching for a creative and talented Bid Management Specialist for our National Government Business Line. This opportunity is based in Sacramento, California. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Pursuit Support As part of the DCS Americas marketing team, serves as a marketing/bid management specialist to assist a business line (BL) with pursuits in support of strategic growth and winning work. Collaborates with BL teams and Regional teams to support identified priority pursuits, including supporting the preparation of proposals, presentations, SOQs, pre-qualifications, and other marketing-related deliverables. Reports to the BL Marketing Lead or supervisor Leads special projects, as directed by BL Marketing Lead. Content Development Supports writing, editing for proposals or client deliverables as assigned Liaises with appropriate/relevant BL team, operations, technical, and business development professionals to support or develop marketing information (including but not limited to BL case studies/project sheets and capabilities summaries). Coordinates within the marketing organization to gather information for specific content needs within priority sectors, segments and/or practice, including awards, conferences, etc.
Works with BL team lead supports the development of content for BL led client webinars, thought leadership, and internal and external campaigns, or social media. Proposal Leadership and Quality Supports BL marketing team on assigned BL pursuits through proposal layout and production, writing, editing. Supports pre-RFP proposal planning process contributing to win plan, themes, and discriminators in marketing deliverables as well as task assignments, deliverable schedule, responsibilities, etc. Partners on proposal and presentation work assignments and follows up as appropriate to ensure tasks and projects proceed according schedule and AECOM standards of quality, timeliness, and cost effectiveness. Implements proposal and presentation revisions based on direction from review/ capture teams. Supports other key BL pursuits marketing activities, including SOQs, proposals, presentations, alternative delivery, and other marketing-related deliverables. Understands relevant
AECOM offerings across BLs and navigates gathering of related expertise to complete or assist in proposal and pursuit efforts. Continually updates and maintains status of assigned pursuits in CRM, Salesforce. Understands DCS marketing processes, systems, information and design software. Works under supervision of senior BL specialists or BL lead. Interfaces with various teams within DCS Marketing, BL operations/technical/practice leads. Content Development and Quality Participates in specific market or key-client positioning efforts and helps develop and apply the strategy, offer, and discriminators deliverables, ensures compliance with client requirements. Adheres to schedules for assigned tasks related to deliverables such as capabilities statements, prepositioning efforts, presentations and RFI/Q/P response, Participates with the DCS Marketing and MarComms teams and/or others, as may be appropriate, to support development of marketing materials, display presentations and other activities related to national and/or global conference and trade shows, awards, campaigns or thought leadership, Assists in organization, accuracy, and updates of marketing information. Ensures coordination and collaboration with the DCS Systems team and/or others as may be appropriate to support complete and accurate documentation of marketing information. Requests may include updates to resume or project descriptions, creation of project sheets, uploading or key wording of digital assets to Multimedia Library. Ensures that DCS file management structure and protocols are practiced.
