Kim serves as BDA/OC’s 2019 board president. She is Jacobs’ Southern California Regional Strategic Sales Lead, focusing primarily on large public works projects. With nearly 30 years of A/E firm experience, she is an experienced strategist and works with client account managers to enhance client plans, identify top tier opportunities, develop pursuit strategies to win key new work, and provide presentation development and coaching support. She mentors staff and provides leadership to concentrate on meaningful results at all levels (marketing and technical) and has trained hundreds in client-focused pursuit management techniques. Kim initiated Jacobs’ small and disadvantage business enterprise (S/DBE) outreach program in Southern California to broaden the firm’s relationships with S/DBEs.

Michelle Hoalton serves as the Vice President on this year’s BDA/OC board, supporting Kim and the board in all BDA initiatives through her valuable connections with keynote speakers, planning and leading workshops, luncheons, and networking events, and supporting all other aspects within the association. Michelle Hoalton is the Vice President of Client Services and provides business development, marketing, client relationship management support, as well as corporate public relations, large project/contract coordination, project public outreach, and environmental documentation. She interfaces with new and existing clients regularly to form successful strategic partnerships with a wide variety of architecture /engineering/construction (AEC) businesses.

Dina has served on the board of the BDA/OC since 2012 and currently serves as Treasurer for the BDA/OC. With over 30 years of experience, Dina specializes in proposal development and graphic design for architectural, engineering design, planning, environmental, and construction services. As a Senior Marketing Coordinator with AECOM’s National Governments Business Line, Dina supports large pursuits with the Department of Defense and other federal agencies.

Erika has over 17 years of combined experience in Marketing and Business Development with environmental/engineering firms. Through her career, she has developed strong relationship building, planning and collaborative skills to meet the various needs of her clients. Her approach to building project teams and proposal development is strategic, organized, and friendly. She is proactive, responsive, and committed to team building which has translated to a passion for organizing programs and workshops for BDA/OC.

Michael Baker International
Jonai Johnson supports BDA/OC’s Public Relations and Marketing efforts in various capacities, from brainstorming concepts for professional development events and social mixers to developing the organization’s newsletter and updating the BDA/OC website. In her full-time job, Jonai is a Marketing Specialist at Michael Baker International, focusing on business development and marketing pursuits, specifically and most often for the Transportation Department.
|PR / Marketing||Chelsea Roy
Chelsea Roy serves as PR / Marketing Director on this year’s BDA/OC board, supporting Kim and the board in the development of our social media channels, advertising BDA/OC networking events including luncheons and workshops, and website design. She is the Marketing Coordinator at PACE Advanced Water Engineering and works with the Vice President of Client Relations and Project Managers to develop strategic marketing materials, and coordinates promotional events, conference involvement, and proposal production. She also coordinates media advertising and business development strategies.
Mike Foscolos currently serves as Membership Director and Golf Tournament Chair at BDA-OC. Mike is working at Geocon has 31 years of business development and procurement, client relations, project management, project coordination, and cost estimating. experience. He is responsible for client coordination, managing project budgets, and attending pre-bid, pre-construction, and ongoing construction meetings. He started his career as a geotechnical field technician and has worked his way up to director of business development with a successful project win strategy. His knowledge of working in the field and all aspects of the geotechnical engineering industry gives him the advantage to be able to develop new business and sell Geocon’s services to its future clients. Outside of work, Mike enjoys skateboarding, playing pinball, and hanging out with his six grandkids at Disneyland. Mike also enjoys golf, and putting together charity golf tournaments for the associations he belongs to.
