Weâ?Tre currently looking for experienced Proposal and Marketing Professionals in our Santa Ana and Los Angeles, CA offices. The office and region are growing, leading to an expected growth in the Proposal Department.
 
Description: Will be responsible for preparing marketing materials to market URS abilities and services to clients to win work/bids. Specifically, responsibilities include planning, scheduling and coordinating the development and production of proposals/presentations, statements of qualifications, brochures and related marketing materials. This person will be involved with competitive proposals and presentations for state and local government including transportation agencies, water agencies, municipal and county governments. Will produce federal proposals in a SF 330 format and occasionally be responsible for producing private sector proposals for Geoscience and Remediation services. In this position, you will write and develop presentations in a manner that is persuasive and draws out the sales qualities of the material. Typically, resumes, project descriptions, and introductory material are tailored by this position.

Working with a wide range of technical professionals in two large divisions, Environmental and Engineering, this person will prioritize work to meet multiple deadlines, moderate meetings and drive schedules in an engineering consulting business. This person will be working with about 25 proposal/project manager level staff. Typically frequent users of these services are transportation planners and engineers, water resource engineers, and environmental planners. We are looking for an individual with leadership potential who can be a team player and lead teams in the production of proposals with a variety of staff members involved.

Requirements: BA in English, Communications or similar major and 5+ years of experience within the Engineering and/or Environmental Consulting Industry. Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and time management skills required. Must be able to work in a team environment and meet deadlines.
